I was born in Rome Italy. My family moved to Providence RI where my father was Italian Vice Counsel for that state. I joined the Air force in 1966 and was discharged in 1970. I became an American citizen in 1976 and moved to Colorado in 1984. I managed an auto business, owned a VW repair shop (Alkim Bug Shop), designed and built three wheeled motorcycles (On Three Custom Trikes), Owned a coffee shop in Old Colorado City (A Touch Of Class Coffee shop and Photo Gallery), board member on the Old Colorado City Association Board, and also worked as the Assistant manager of Sears portrait studio (Chapel Hills). In addition, I spent eight years as president of the Soldiers for Jesus Motorcycle Club (Colorado Springs Chapter) bringing the word and witness of Christ to motorcycle clubs and bikers. I love photography, music (Jazz & Blues), and riding my 1956 Harley Panhead chopper that I built in 1974.
